Meet the Thousand Oaks Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Thousand Oaks

Our Thousand Oaks crew is small on purpose. Four technicians, one service coordinator, and a bench in the shop that has held more torsion springs than any of us care to count. The work we do in Thousand Oaks is different from work done in Westlake Village or Newbury Park a few miles away, because the garage doors here face specific stuff. Salt air from the coast, a decade of drought, and hillside homes where the door takes a wind hit that a flat lot never sees. Our guys know those doors because they have opened thousands of them. Every truck that leaves our yard in Thousand Oaks carries the same promise: a written price before work starts, a photo record when the work is done, and a door that stays fixed.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner and Lead Technician

Marcus started Servo Garage Doors Thousand Oaks in 2015 after a decade on other people’s trucks. He holds a state contractor’s license and has personally worked on more than 18,000 garage doors since opening. His specialty is the repair that two other companies gave up on: a door that binds at panel three, an opener that reverses for no reason the logic board can explain, a spring that broke at the cone and took the cable with it. Marcus is the reason our trucks carry more parts per vehicle than most shops stock in a week, because he hates the second trip. When he is not under a door, he is arguing with the 1966 Mustang in his garage, which he will tell you has opinions. The policy about photographing a failed part before quoting a replacement is his rule, and it has not bent once since 2015.

Rebecca T., Service Coordinator

Rebecca has been the first voice on our Thousand Oaks phone line for six years. She handles scheduling, dispatch, and the paperwork that keeps every job documented. If you call with a door halfway down and a car trapped inside, Rebecca is the one who names the technician, texts you when they are on the way, and stays on the line while you check that the door is secure. She knows the difference between a broken spring and a stripped gear without seeing the door, because she has walked hundreds of callers through the same two questions. Rebecca keeps a list of every garage door brand in her neighborhood and can spot a Clopay from across the street at fifty feet, a skill she claims is useless at parties and indispensable on the phone.

Danny M., Senior Installer

Danny has installed garage doors in the Conejo Valley since 2012 and joined Servo Thousand Oaks four years ago. He is the person we send for full door replacements, high-lift conversions, and any job that touches a cathedral ceiling in a Westlake view home. Danny is certified by three major manufacturers, including LiftMaster and Clopay, and he can frame a door opening that the original builder left half an inch out of square without making it look like a correction. He keeps a torque wrench in a foam cutout and will tell you exactly which rail bracket goes on which job. Danny coaches youth baseball on Saturdays, and on Monday mornings he is usually the one teaching the apprentice why a cable drum has to be flush.

Leo G., Technician and Apprentice Mentor

Leo came to us from apartment maintenance, which means he has seen what happens to garage doors when two hundred residents share ten bays and nobody reports a rattle. He is four years into the trade and handles most opener diagnostics, sensor alignment, and track repairs on his own. Leo is the reason every job ends with the same photo set: open door, failed part, replaced part, finished door. He can swap a broken limit switch in eleven minutes, a fact Danny timed twice and now refuses to acknowledge. Leo is currently studying for his LiftMaster Elite installer credential and drinks a worrying amount of cold brew from the gas station on Moorpark Road.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard is not a slogan we hang on the wall. It is a numbered set of rules, and our Thousand Oaks crew can quote the clauses cold. Clause 1 is the one customers notice first: a flat, written price and a written scope delivered before any work begins, on every job, no exceptions. Clause 4 is the one that matters after the repair: a documented photo record showing what was found and what was done, so you never take our word for a failed spring half an hour after the truck leaves. Every technician on this page is background-checked, uniformed, and trained on all eight major brands we service: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every appointment our Thousand Oaks location runs: if the work is not right, we make it right. Marcus still reviews the photo logs personally each week, and he has been doing that since 2015. That is the part no one writes into a contract: the owner of this company still opens every single job file. Call (424) 395-3203 and you will get Rebecca, a named technician, an on-the-way text, and a written price before anything gets touched.
